What counts is not the year of construction but the first making available of each individual unit. A machine finished in December and delivered in February must comply with the Machinery Regulation.

The Regulation applies without a transition period from 20 January 2027. For each unit, what counts is the day it is first made available on the market – usually handover to the customer. If a delivery slips past the deadline, the same machine needs a declaration under the Regulation.
Check your current declaration and create a draft under the Machinery Regulation from it.
