normakte / EU declaration of conformity
A finished, ready-to-use machine carries the CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity. Here is what that declaration must contain — under Annex V Part A of the Machinery Regulation.
The free generator creates the declaration with every mandatory item of Annex V. Already have a template under Directive 2006/42/EC? The check shows in seconds what is missing from 2027.
The EU declaration of conformity is the document by which the manufacturer, under its sole responsibility, states that the machine meets the applicable Union acts. Its content is set by Annex V Part A; it is not a free-form formality.
Naming a product family instead of the specific machine, or writing "applicable standards applied" without citing the references, makes the declaration insufficient. Traceability (particular 1/4) and the standards references (particular 6) are exactly what market surveillance checks.
If the machine is also a product with digital elements, the Cyber Resilience Act applies on top — but not as a second declaration:
Where the product is covered by several Union acts requiring an EU declaration of conformity, a single declaration is drawn up for all those acts.

Annex details are checked against the versions published in the Official Journal; they are paraphrased and shortened, the official text prevails.
normakte is a drafting and calculation aid; it replaces neither the conformity assessment, nor a notified body, nor legal advice.
